After nearly two years without an update, Apple has finally decided it was time to get the high end Mac Pro a well deserved makeover.
The Mac Pro has been languishing for some time now, and while this work horse of the video production industry can get crazy expensive (we configured a model for close to $17,000 while doing this article), users swear by them. We’re not sure why this don’t get a mention during the actual WWDC keynote today, but it is currently available on the Apple Store.
While we know there are many options and configurations you can choose when ordering this computer, we only went with the most basic introduction model for comparison purposes against the new model. it is the easiest way to see what has changed.
