Mountain Lion Roars In With iCloud Updates

Apple - Mountain Lion 011

Today, Apple has officially announced new updates via Mac OS X Mountain Lion that allows users to have their data updated across all of their devices:

• Messages, which brings iMessage to the desktop (previously released in beta, now looks official). Allows users to respond to iMessages they receive (even on their phone) via their desktop.
• Reminders
• Notes: Supports images and links, users can open notes in separate windows.

In addition, Documents in the Cloud allows users access to documents through apps like Pages. So upon launch, you can see all the documents you have saved across all your devices. (For Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Preview and TextEdit, there’s a developer SDK, so devs can add support.)

For anyone doubting that Apple wants to bring more of iOS to the Mac, this should effectively answer that.
