Google will unveil its ASUS-built quad-core Nexus tablet during its Google I/O developer conference in June, that much we already know. However, according to a new report, AT&T will offer the new tablet as well as the Padfone and the Transformer Pad Infinity LTE, also made by ASUS. The news comes from Android Authority, which said it confirmed the report with an ASUS representative during the Computex conference in Taipei last week. The rep said that U.S. carriers “hate” the Padfone but that AT&T will test the waters by offering it to its customers. The Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) will be sold by AT&T in both LTE and Wi-Fi-only flavors and will cost $499, Android Authority said, but without noting whether or not that’s the subsidized price or not (we’re guessing it is).
