Apple Expanding App Store to 32 Additional Countries

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced during his WWDC keynote on Monday that Apple will expand its App Store presence into 32 additional countries. Today, Apple’s App Store is available in 120 countries. The company also noted that it has paid $5 billion to developers and that there are now more than 650,000 apps in the iTunes App Store, 225,000 of which are for the iPad. Apple did not specifically list the new countries but we’ll update you as soon as we know.
