We’re incredibly excited about next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference, and according to recent rumors, it’s going to be a big one. While we’re not expecting to see a new iPhone, we are looking forward to taking a peek at OS X Mountain Lion and iOS 6, and possibly refreshes to the MacBook Pro and Mac Pro.
Apple has begun preparing the Moscone Center in San Francisco for the event, erecting its latest WWDC banners with a slogan that reads, “Where great ideas go on to do great things.” This year’s banners are decorated with iOS app icons — not for the first time — and indicate that iOS 6 and its new features will be Apple’s main focus.
In addition to its WWDC signage, Cult of Mac reports that Apple has placed iPad adverts on every bus stop, billboard and newspaper stand around Moscone Center in preparation for the event.
If you weren’t already excited for WWDC, you should be by now. There are just 5 days to go until Apple kicks off the event with its keynote address on June 11.
