NVIDIA and Nyko Partner For Android Game Controllers

These days I’m using a Logitech gamepad to play the latest titles on my Transformer Prime, but NVIDIA and Nyko are out to change that. The two companies teamed up recently and just unveiled the Playpad and the Playpad Pro, two new gamepads for Android–based tablets and smartphones. The controllers are specifically designed for Tegra 3 devices, which means you’ll be getting the best graphics and (hopefully) gaming experience, assuming the new gamepads are up to snuff. We’re excited to see gaming companies starting to take Android more seriously, especially considering Sony’s announcement last night that PlayStation Mobile titles will soon trickle down to HTC devices.
