Not only does it sound like Apple is preparing to re-imagine its stock apps, but a new report suggests the company will introduce design overhauls to its iTunes Store, App Store and iBookstore in iOS 6. The goal, according to 9to5Mac, is to bring more interactivity, social features (through Facebook sharing) and store pages to its online fronts. Facebook, you say? Yep, that certainly adds a bit of credibility to speculation over the social network being integrated into Apple’s next big mobile update. Interestingly, the initial overhaul isn’t aimed at improving discoverability, which is disappointing considering Apple purchased app-finding company Chomp to address this very issue. We’ll find out what kind of overhaul we’ll see when WWDC kicks off on June 11.
