Google Preparing to Show Newest Maps Technology on June 6

Google Maps announcementWe’re expecting Apple and Google Maps to part ways when WWDC kicks off on June 11. The week before, on June 6, Google wants to show the world why this is a very, very bad move on Apple’s part. The search giant is apparently preparing to hold a press conference for a “behind-the-scenes look at Google Maps” and to reveal the company’s “vision” of what’s to come. We’ll also get a look at Google’s “newest technology” and a “sneak peek at upcoming features that will help people get where they want to go — both physically and virtually.” Will Google’s announcement be enough to make Apple change its mind?
