Google+ Preparing to Introduce Events Feature, Integrate With Google Calendar

Google Plus EventsGoogle+ is reportedly gearing up to introduce an Events feature similar to what you’d find in Facebook. The search giant’s social media arm will let users create and track events designated around each Circle, and also let those involved participate in a pre-event Hangout. You know, to make sure everything is going according to plan. In addition, the feature will also let folks add photos and videos associated with an event, just in case you miss any moments while you’re passed out in the bathroom. The feature has apparently made a cameo in Google Calendar, although clicking on the “learn more” link is dead right now. (You can try it to.) Adding more plausibility to Google+ Events is the fact that the network’s Android app has an empty button that is speculated to be Google’s new feature, Engadget said. Nothing is live or official yet, but we imagine we’ll be hearing an announcement from Google real soon.
