Verizon may have been the first U.S. carrier to call dibs on Google’s Galaxy Nexus, but America’s largest wireless carrier sure has been late to the party in regards to software updates for the the Android purebred. However, it appears that the elusive IMM76K update, which will fix several bugs and bring Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.0.4, is officially on its way. A leaked support doc details that Verizon has given the update a green light that, according to the folks from Droid-Life, means that we can expect to see the software push make its official debut soon. If you’re feeling a tad bit restless, we don’t blame you, but hopefully Verizon and Google have finally come to terms and this overdue update happen soon.
