It appears that Sprint had one Nexus too many. The Now Network has decided to discontinue the Nexus S 4G. A casualty of progress, it would appear that Sprint is focusing on its recently released LTE-equipped Galaxy Nexus instead. The Nexus S was Samsung’s first attempt at a Nexus device and introduced Android fans to purebred Gingerbread and NFC. Sprint’s version of this trendsetter was the first Google flagship phone to use Google Wallet and carry a 4G moniker. Not too long ago this charming handset was upgraded to Android 4.0, something which is still very hard to come by, but alas all good things must come to an end. Goodbye Nexus S 4G, we hardly knew ye.
