Google+ for Android Update Adds New UI and Allows You to Start Hangouts

In a bit of a twist, Google updated the iOS version of its Google+ app first with the promise of an update for its Android app soon to follow. Today, the Mountain View based company has delivered on its promise by releasing Google+ version 2.6 for Android to the Google Play Store. Like its iOS counterpart, this update introduces a completely new UI and Android-exclusive features such as the ability to initiate a Hangout directly from your device.
