Samsung CEO Choi Gee-sung and mobile exec Shin Jong -kyun met with Apple CEO Tim Cook recently in San Francisco to discuss the ongoing litigation between both firms. The meeting was a court-ordered in effort to end the legal battles. Apple has long argued that Samsung is creating copycat products of its iPad and iPhone, and Samsung believes Apple is illegally using its technology related to wireless data transmission. “The two technology giants could find no clear agreement through the talks,” The Korea Times said, citing an unnamed Samsung official. The two companies will now head to a trial on June 27th.
