The Nokia Lumia 900 is a great buy, not just because of its price, but because it offers a solid experience both with its software and hardware. We’re not the only ones singing its praises, either. Consumer Reports, who famously refused to stamp the iPhone 4 with its seal of approval in 2010, has picked the Lumia 900 out of the crowded smartphone market and given the device a Top Buy Rating. The honor is yet another indication that Windows Phone is a dark horse among the iPhones and the Androids in the market place, even if it doesn’t receive as much hype and anticipation as its competitors.
“This is great recognition for our leading smartphone,” Nokia said. “We knew it was the best, but it’s always a lot better when someone else says it for you.”
