Google Allegedly Planning to Release Five Nexus Devices on November 5th

There has been talk of Google possibly releasing five Nexus devices made by multiple manufacturers, instead of just one manufacturer as it did with the G1, Nexus, Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. The story was originally reported by The Wall Street Journal earlier this month and now we have a possible launch date. TalkAndroid cited a “reliable source” who is arguing that Google has plans to launch five new Nexus-branded devices on November 5th to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Android.

Google will likely continue to sell its Nexus-branded devices directly through its Google Play Store. selling them directly through its Google Play Store. We expect to hear more on Android 5.0 Jelly Bean and Google’s future plans for its Nexus products during Google I/O, which kicks off in just 34 days.
