Spotify Launches in Australia and New Zealand

The popular music streaming service Spotify is now available to our friends down under in Australia and in New Zealand. I’m madly in love with Spotify’s service — particularly its premium option, which costs $9.99 per month and allows me to stream tunes on my phone and store it offline — but it’s also great for sharing tunes with friends or creating joint playlists with a group of people. Plus, Spotify, which launched an iPad app earlier this month, has regularly been on target with launching new albums each Tuesday. MOG, a competitor, also announced it will launch its services in Australia soon, although it has yet to do so. If you live in Australia and haven’t tried Spotify elsewhere yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.
