Sony’s Music Unlimited Application, which competes directly with services such as Spotify and Rdio, is now available in the iTunes App Store. There’s a catch, however: you’ll need to live in New Zealand in order to download the app right now. This is good news, though, since it means that Sony will likely expand the iOS app to other Music Unlimited countries in the near future. Music Unlimited is already available for Android and PlayStation Vita devices and costs $4 per month for basic subscription that provides access to millions of songs. A premium version of the service also allows on-demand playback, the ability to create playlists, access to charts and new releases and more, but it will set you back a more expensive $9.99 per month. We’ll keep you in the loop as the service expands to more countries.
