Apple’s OS X Mountain Lion, which is set to be released this summer, is reportedly being infused with even more iOS features. According to 9to5 Mac, the most recent Developer Preview 3 has automatic application downloads partially enabled, but it’s not 100 percent functional. When the feature does go live, however, it will work the same way it does on the iPhone and iPad: Any app you download in the Mac App Store will automatically install on any other Mac you own that’s logged into the same App Store account. For folks who own a MacBook Pro/iMac combination, or something similar, this could be extremely convenient. While it’s not fully working yet, the feature is there (as you can see in the picture above), so we’ll probably see it fully flushed out once WWDC kicks off on June 11.
