Attention HTC Amaze 4G owners, the wait for Ice Cream Sandwich is finally over. Starting today, T-Mobile is officially rolling out an over-the-air push to HTC Amaze 4Gs across the land, but if you’re unable to wait, you can initiate the software update via your phone’s settings. Please note that in order to get this Ice Cream Sandwich party started, you’re device needs to have more than 50 percent battery life, Android 2.3.4 (Software versions 1.43.531.3, 1.36.531.5, or 1.36.531.6) and it cannot be rooted. If you meet these prerequisites and are ready to wave bye-bye to Gingerbread, just be sure that you have a decent Wi-Fi or data connection and about 20 minutes to spare for the install process.
