Sometimes I wish I was Japanese, and this unbelievably gnarly video is one of the reasons why. Kenji Ishida of Japan has built a real-life Autobot that morphs into warrior form in a matter of seconds. Apparently, 22 Servo motors are responsible for the bot’s joint movements. Watch this Autobot transform, reach valiantly for the stars, shadow box like Sylvester Stallone and shuffle about like John Travolta. Keep in mind that this is Version 8, and the builder is currently working on Version 9. Hopefully his design can be scaled up to match a 2013 Ford Mustang with vocal projections similar to Optimus Prime.
