Oh hi there, were you looking for another iPad Mini rumor? Well then, you’re in for a treat. According to a new report published on Thursday, AU Optronics and LG Display have reportedly passed the necessary certification tests required for manufacturers wishing to build the LCD displays that Apple will use on its rumored iPad Mini. TPK Holding and Chimei Innolux have also been tapped to provide 4 million and 2 million backlight module units each, respectively, The Liberty Times said. Apple’s iPad Mini is expected to launch during the third or fourth quarter of this year with a $200 – $250 price tag. A Samsung official has also claimed that his firm is providing 7.85-inch displays for the new iPad Mini.
