Facebook recently added new amendment to its S-1 filing which reveals that it will offer an additional 50,612,302 shares of Class A common stock to “cover over-allotments.” The social network also said that it expects the initial public offering price to fall between $34 and $38, which is in-line with several reports around the web but higher than original estimates. Facebook will offer a total of 337.5 million shares, but the social network has seen less than expected demand from institutional investors, which fear the company is overvalued.
