HTC Confirms Verizon Won’t Carry One X, One S or One V

HTC One X

This may come as a bit of a bummer to anyone hoping to get their hands on a Verizon-branded HTC One X. HTC spokesperson Jeff Gordon has confirmed that Verizon will not carry any of the Taiwan-based phone maker’s One-series devices. We’re not too surprised, since Verizon Wireless just announced the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, which offers similar, albeit watered-down, features.

“Verizon is not going to be carrying either of the HTC One devices currently announced,” Gordon said in a statement obtained by AndroidAuthority. The “currently announced” part of that quote definitely leaves room for speculation around another¬†One device that could launch on Verizon, but we’re not holding our breath. At least you can look forward to the Galaxy S III though, right?
