Turntable.FM Spins its Way to Android

by Mark Hearn | May 11, 2012May 11, 2012 4:00 pm PDT

Another high-profile app has made the jump from iOS exclusive to become Android’s newest offering. This time around it’s Stickybits’ popular Turntable.fm. This social music app places you in the role of a virtual DJ, where you can choose from thousands of tracks online, or play your own music for your listeners. Like most social Internet experiences, people will have the chance to vote on your skills as a discless disc jockey, which can make or break your status as a music mixing superstar. Currently only available to residents of the U.S. with devices running Android 2.2 or higher, Turntable.fm is now available to download by way of Google Play.
