Windows Phone Marketplace Changing to “Nokia Marketplace” on Lumia Devices

Microsoft and Nokia have been going steady for a little bit over a year now and mirroring the customs of marriage, it looks like someone is in for a name change. Revealed by the latest Windows Phone Tango ROM, the update is said to be bringing a change specifically to Nokia Lumia devices, by rebranding the current Windows Phone Marketplace tile as the “Nokia Marketplace.” Obviously approved by Microsoft, such a move suggests that Nokia has been given a little more leeway in terms of distinguishing itself from other Windows Phone vendors. Several areas are seeing Tango earlier than others, but here’s a slight idea of what you can expect if you’re sporting a Lumia branded device and have yet to receive the update.
