One of the most anticipated upcoming titles for the PlayStation Vita, LittleBigPlanet, is officially getting a beta!
Since the Vita was announced, LittleBigPlanet has been one of the games that people have been waiting for. Some people are even waiting to see what Sackboy has in store for the portable before they decide to pick up their own Vita.
As with any beta, the creators of LittleBigPlanet for the Vita are looking to get as much feedback from the community as they can. They want “to get a ton of feedback on the overall experience from the folks who know LBP best,” naturally. We all know from experience that communal input in a beta can only go so far, but it will be nice to at least get our hands on the game that Vita owners have been itching for since launch.
LittleBigPlanet seems to be a game that will work perfectly with the Vita. The game’s creative and puzzle solving nature is what the Vita strives in. Along with the awesome gameplay we know and love from the series, the Vita’s unique control scheme is sure to add to the game’s value.
Hopefully bringing an established franchise title such as LittleBigPlanet over to the Vita will spark some interest and help Sony out with their sales. With the LittleBigPlanet beta, and Sony’s potential E3 plans for the console, they should be able to make a much larger splash in the portable gaming market than they have been able to do thus far.

We don’t have a release date on the beta yet, let along the actual title. All we know is that the beta is coming “very soon,” so make sure you’re among the first to register.
