Samsung Reportedly Planning to Launch a Galaxy Note-sized Windows Phone

Samsung may have an aggressive strategy to take on Nokia in the Windows Phone market with a brand new device. The firm reportedly hopes that its Focus product line will mirror its highly successful Android Galaxy line when it launches phones powered by Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 platform. This is not the first time we’ve heard of this strategy, but unlike the first time around, the latest report claims Samsung is working on introducing a Galaxy Note-style Windows Phone.

Rumors suggest that the alleged Note-sized Windows Phone might pack innards that are similar to the recently announced Galaxy S III. No word was given on when we could expect such a device but we’re pretty sure that Windows Phone fans will gladly welcome Samsung’s big body smartphone with open arms.
