Bad news, folks. Earlier this morning we posted a story that suggested Walmart had started selling the iPhone 4S for as low as $114 with a new two-year AT&T contract. However, Walmart has issued a statement in which it claims the information was a pricing error and that the iPhone 4S pricing has not changed. Walmart specifically said it “experienced a pricing error in limited stores” on Thursday. In a statement provided to 9to5Mac, Walmart explained that the issue was fixed and that Walmart is still selling the iPhone 4S for $188 and the iPhone 4 for $88.
