Minecraft for Xbox 360 Gets a Launch Trailer

by Joey Davidson | May 4, 2012May 4, 2012 10:30 am PDT

In case you didn’t already know, the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft will boast splitscreen local multiplayer. It will work for up to four players at once, just like you remember way back when you used to yell “no Oddjob!” in Goldeneye.

This console variant of everyone’s favorite indie block breaker is being ported over by the fine folks at 4J Studios. It features things like a new crafting system (since console gamers lack a keyboard and mouse), friend list play, avatar awards and, of course, splitscreen local play.

Minecraft will be available to Xbox 360 gamers on May 9th. It will sell for 1600 Points. Will you be snagging it?
