Pitting the Galaxy S III against the HTC One X is a bit like the tech world’s equivalent of 1974’s Rumble in the Jungle. Not only are these two the biggest Android devices to hit in some time, but they’re both equipped with the latest buzz word in mobile technology: quad-core. If either has any kind of advantage, we’d say it belongs to the One X merely because we reviewed the international iteration a little over a month ago and absolutely loved it. Other than what Samsung demonstrated, we have no clue what the S III will be like; the device certainly has the intrigue factor, we’ll give it that. But will its Exynos 4 Quad chip outperform NVIDIA’s Tegra 3? Will the S III’s 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen look better than the One X’s 4.7-inch HD Super IPS display? More importantly, which one has the more powerful haymaker?
This TechnoBuffalo comparison is between the international Galaxy S III and the international HTC One X.
