HTC One X Gets Second Firmware Update In A Month

The HTC One X has received its second firmware update since making its debut less than a month ago. The new release, which is available to owners with unbranded and unlocked devices in Europe, weighs in at 35MB and is numbered version 1.29.401.7.

HTC is yet to announce the software officially, so what this software does exactly is still a bit of a mystery. However, according to reports, users can expect the update to address intermittent Wi-Fi problems, color temperature issues, and other minor bug fixes.

If you’re in Europe, you should begin to see the update now in your device’s Settings app. Those with a One X handset in other territories will have to sit tight for the time being.
