Google Play Now Offers Direct Carrier Billing for All Media

Google PlayEver wish your monthly wireless bill was more expensive? If you’re an Android user, you now have the option to roll all of your Google Play purchases — apps, music, movies and books — right into your monthly phone bill. Previously extended to just Android apps, the expanded service only applies to certain carriers: T-Mobile U.S., NTT Docomo, KDDI and Softbank. Sprint is also on tap to become a partner in the near future. Google didn’t reveal any information about Verizon or AT&T, nor any other international carriers.
