Did Belkin Just Confirm the Galaxy S III Ahead of Tomorrow’s Event?

Galaxy S III

It’s common for case vendors to publish specs and early case designs for future smartphones — CaseMate accidentally published a page with cases for the alleged iPhone 5, which turned out to launch as the iPhone 4S. However, Belkin essentially just confirmed in an email to TechnoBuffalo that Samsung will indeed be announcing a phone called the Galaxy S III during tomorrow’s press event in London.

In an email to TechnoBuffalo, Belkin asked to show off “case designs for the Samsung Galaxy S3” during the CTIA conference next week in New Orleans. That would suggest that the cases have already been manufactured for the new phone, especially since it appears there will be hard products on display next week. Of course, this could just be a slip-up so we’re taking it with a grain of salt for now, but it adds a bit of fun to the speculation leading up to tomorrow’s event.

What do the cases look like? That much we’re not sure of. We’ll be sure to bring you all of the latest updates on the Galaxy S III tomorrow at 2:00 pm EST so be sure to bookmark our liveblog page.
