Windows Phone’s gaming division may carry the Xbox Live name, but Microsoft’s mobile gaming experience has been far removed from the competitive nature of its popular console and PC offerings. In an effort to change this, Namco Bandai will soon be releasing Pac-Man Kart Rally, Windows Phone’s first Xbox Live game to offer multiplayer over a local Wi-Fi network connection. Formerly exclusive to Sony’s Android powered Xperia Play, the game will be ported to Windows Phone complete with tilt controls via a device’s accelerometer. Packed with 10 playable characters, 13 unique race tracks and Xbox Live Achievements. Pac-Man Kart Rally will be available on May 2nd in all regions except Brazil and Korea for the price of $4.99.
