Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Gets Japanese PS Vita Trailer

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS Vita will sport remastered ports of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It will not include the remaster of Peace Walker (unlike the PlayStation 3 version of the package). However, it will boast classic ports of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.

Aside from series stats and gameplay, the video at the top of this post hits some of the content exclusive to the PS Vita. Including features like the completely necessary ability to touch and zoom in on cleavage during cutscenes, cloud-based saves for playing across both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, peering around corners and zooming with weaponry. The collection will also feature sweet, sweet Trophy support.

The trailer itself ends with a note on the game’s Japanese release date and price point. It hits Konami’s home nation on June 28th of this year and will sell for 4,980 yen (roughly $50 USD). North American gamers are slated to see the title on June 12th and will pay $39.99.
