T-Mobile has promised to release a software update for the HTC One S to address a battery issue that affects Wi-Fi calling. Some users have reported that the new Android-powered handset rapidly loses battery life when making calls over a Wi-Fi network.
The carrier hasn’t stated when the update will arrive, but suggests that users should “keep the device plugged in to charge” while making Wi-Fi calls in the meantime. The issue affects the latest version of the One S system software, which is numbered 1.53.531.16.
It’s good to see that T-Mobile is addressing this issue. Are anyone of you actually using the Wi-Fi calling feature?
