With everyone’s (well, almost everyone’s) eyes now firmly focused on the upcoming Galaxy S III and Samsung’s Unpacked 2012 event next week, Vodafone decided that yesterday was a good time to announce that it will be stocking the “Next Galaxy” as soon as it’s available in the U.K. But O2 is quick to point out that it won’t be the only one.
While some were concerned the device may be a Vodafone exclusive, O2 has confirmed that it, too, will be selling the “the next Samsung Galaxy” just as soon as it’s available. A spokesman for the company told Pocket-lint:
“We are excited about the next Samsung Galaxy that’s why it’ll be coming to us too. It’s not a Voda exclusive… but not much more for us to say at this stage!”
While we’re almost certain that Samsung will finally unveil the new device at its press event on May 3, we still have no idea when we’ll actually be able to purchase the handset. Here’s to hoping the Korean company won’t keep us waiting too long.
Which carrier will you be choosing for the Galaxy S III?
