iPhone Now Available on Five More Regional U.S. Carriers, iPad Lands in Ten New Markets

Residents in some of America’s more rural locations can finally get their hands on the iPhone 4S. As of today regional carriers: Alaska Communications, Appalachian Wireless, GCL, Cellcom, and nTelos now offer the iPhone 4S to their customers for $50 less than the major carriers that have carried the device since its launch. In addition to the phone that made Siri a household name, these regional carriers will also carry the iPhone 4 for $99. In other iOS related news, Apple’s new iPad is also extending its international reach today by launching in Croatia, Brunei, Cyprus, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, St Maarten, Venezuela, Uruguay and the Dominican Republic.
