EA and Crytek have elected to spread out assets for the next entry in the Crysis line in the form of teasing for teasers that tease new trailers. Yes, that’s what the collective industry is doing these days.
The clip above is what EA’s marketing arm is offering up for Crysis 3. It’s a save-the-date, of sorts, for the real trailer’s unveiling. That’s scheduled to happen on April 24th (next Tuesday).
We’re leaving this up to you… do you like seeing these teasers for trailers, or would you rather we held off and just see the real thing when it arrives. On one hand, we like encouraging moments of discussion when trailers are rather vague. On the other, nothing stinks quite like a 15 second clip that ends with a date for the real thing.
