Canadian wireless carrier Bell announced on Wednesday that it will exclusively offer the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE. The phone is also expected to launch on AT&T’s as the Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, although a release date has not yet been announced. The device features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear facing camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, 1GB of RAM, an 1850mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. As sad as it may be to see such a high-end device launch with Gingerbread, Bell said the device will receive Android 4.0 in the coming months. Bell hasn’t announced a price point or exact release date for the Galaxy S II HD LTE just yet, but has launched a registration page for interested customers.
