Apple sold about 35 million iPhones during the last quarter, according to estimates compiled from 48 professional and independent analysts. 24 Wall Street analysts said they expected Apple to sell between 26 million and 33.1 million units, depending on who you asked, or 30.5 million iPhones on average.

Meanwhile, independent analysts weren’t as conservative. Those polled suggested Apple sold between 31.5 million and 44 million iPhones, with the average falling in at 37.2 million devices sold. CNN, which conducted the survey, also compiled the results from the six most accurate analysts over the past five quarters and found that Apple may have sold 35.1 million units during the quarter, up 88.5% from the same quarter last year.

Apple will reveal exactly how many iPhones it sold when it releases its earnings report on April 24th.
