Verizon to Expand 4G LTE Footprint in 8 Markets

Verizon Store

Verizon Wireless recently announced that it will expand its 4G LTE footprint in eight markets in the coming weeks, including in Bakersfield, Fresno, Modesto, Monterey, Sacramento, Salinas and San Francisco Bay area, Caliofirnia and Reno, Nevada. The carrier also said that it will launch 4G LTE in Salisbury, Maryland on April 19th. The carrier has made its 4G LTE network expansion a priority and has already said that it does not have plans to launch any additional 3G devices this year. We expect the carrier’s next big 4G LTE splash could be the highly rumored DROID Incredible 4G.
