There have been murmurs on the Web that suggest Samsung may be preparing two Windows Phone 8 Apollo devices for this year, and it sounds like at least one of them has been confirmed. According to ePrice, the handset will be out no earlier than October, which jibes with Microsoft’s Windows 8 release timetable. Unfortunately, all the information we have to go on here is Samsung Taiwan supposedly “confirming” that the South Korea-based company is releasing a Windows Phone Apollo handset in the second half of this year. Frankly, that’s not too difficult to guess. In the interim, Samsung also has an additional device lined up for this year that is said to be launching with LTE and Windows Phone 7.5 Tango.
