Apple Denies Working with French Designer on “Revolutionary” Product

Apple on Friday publicly denied that it is working in any fashion with the French designer Philippe Starck. Earlier this morning, a report surfaced suggested Starck was working on a new “revolutionary” product that Apple would launch within the next 8 months. The story was juicy: Was Starck working on the Siri-powered Apple iTV? Or what about the new iPhone?

Neither, it turns out. AllThingsD suggests it could have been a yacht for Apple’s late CEO Steve Jobs. You shouldn’t be bummed about the news, though. Apple’s lead industrial designer Jonathan Ive is already an award winning artist.

Oh, and no that’s not really Steve Jobs’s alleged yacht.
