Max Payne Mobile

Rockstar announced recently that Max Payne, the popular shooter that first had PC gamers diving behind desks and shooting bad guys with berettas in “bullet time,” is launching on iOS on April 12th and for Android devices on April 26th. The original game was first launched for PCs in 2001 and was a runaway success. Rockstar said Max Payne Mobile, like GTA III: Anniversary Edition, will feature the full PC game experience, complete with HD graphics and high-resolution textures. The firm is even adding customizable controls and a “Social Club” feature that, we presume, will allow gamers to brag about in-game accomplishments. Rockstar said that a full list of compatible Android devices will be announced in the coming weeks, and we’ve already learned from NVIDIA that an enhanced Tegra 3 version will also be available. Pricing has not yet been announced.
