Google has officially released an update for its Gmail app today, with the changelog’s primary focus on bringing the Ice Cream Sandwich experience to users that are stranded on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). The most noticeable enhancements are the abilities to swipe to move between newer and older conversations, set custom notifications for individual labels and sync the last 30 days of messages so you can read and search messages faster both online and offline. Not forgetting about those of you sitting on Froyo and Gingerbread, the latest software bump brings an improved performance and new labels API for third-party app developers.
