Rumor: Batman: Arkham City Story DLC to Feature Harley Quinn

It appears that the next DLC for Batman: Arkham City might consist of campaign elements based around Harley Quinn as players take on the role of Robin.

The information comes from a leaked set of trophies as picked up by the folks at PS3Trophies.org. Included in the set of trophies is one entitled: A Few New Tricks. The Description of this trophy reads “Use 5 different Quickfire gadgets in one fight as Robin in Harley Quinn’s Revenge.”

This makes it just about as clear as day that the Boy Wonder will be making an appearance into Batman: Arkham City as a playable character. There are no details as to how long or how significant Robin’s role will be in the game, but it certainly looks as if he will be there.

Tim Drake, or Robin, has been available as a playable character in Batman: Arkham City before, but only for use in Challenge maps. He has never actually been a part of the game’s story. The trophy leak leads us to believe that this DLC will be more than new Challenge Rooms, but actual campaign missions. This would make it the first time Robin is being worked into the story of the game (aside from his ever-so-brief cameo in the original plot), something that a few members of the community have been requesting since the launch of the title.

There is no indication that Harley Quinn will be a playable character. In fact, most of the leaked trophies have you completing an action against Harley, such as the previously mentioned trophy including Robin, and this one stating “Destroy all Harley Balloons.”

As of now, the Harley Quinn DLC is only present in this leak, but it seems to be a strong one. There is no official information about this DLC, but when if it’s confirmed and given a release date, we will be sure to share it with you.
