Is This Google’s $200 Nexus Tablet?

Google Nexus Tablet

Several reports have suggested that Google is planning on selling its own Google-branded Nexus tablet at some point later this year. The Wall Street Journal claims the device will be built by Asus, a Taiwan-based manufacturer that already has several solid tablets under its belt, including the Transformer Prime. Now it appears we might have an image of the so-called Nexus tablet. The picture above, obtained by Pocketnow, only displays Google-made applications, which suggests it’s a vanilla Android device. It also has on-screen menu buttons, which points to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich — or possibly Jelly Bean?

The device looks like it packs a screen that’s slightly larger than the 7-inch display most reports have suggested the tablet will offer — unless we’re looking at an insanely high resolution — so we’re leaving this for you to decide. Do you think this is Google’s highly rumored $200 Nexus tablet or something else entirely?
