In my previous post about the rumored 24-megapixel Nikon D3200, I briefly mentioned the inclusion of Wi-Fi on the camera body. Rumors are now stating that there will not be Wi-Fi built into the body, but Nikon will be launching an accessory that will enable wireless capabilities on the D3200. This accessory would allow users to upload their images directly to social media sites, or email them off to someone through Wi-Fi. There is no word on what the price is going to be for this add-on device, but my guess is that it is going to be priced very low and not offer as much functionality as the $900 Nikon WT-5A for the D4.
It looks like Nikon is really trying to beef up the D3200 with features to be able to market and sell it to the average consumer. How do you feel about being able to upload images straight from your DSLR to social media sites? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!
