Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 will be unleashed upon the gaming world this coming May. As that date approaches, Rockstar has taken to releasing bits and pieces of information concerning the title in their typical fashion.
That’s what you see above; a gameplay video done in Rockstar’s new standard mix of strong production and great narration. It was the same style that made us fall in love with Red Dead Redemption before it even launched nearly three years ago (wow, it’s really been that long).
This time around we have a video dedicated to the multiplayer in Max Payne 3. This nearly three minute long clip details the action gamers can experience once they hop into the game’s multiplayer mode later this spring.
The most interesting bit of the video, and the part most people have been worrying about since multiplayer was announced for this title, is Bullet Time. Bullet Time slows the world around the gamer down so that they can aim and fight with dramatic precision. In the multiplayer of Max Payne 3, players can enter Bullet Time. Apparently, everyone in sight of the player that starts Bullet Time will also engage in slow motion play.
Max Payne 3 will launch for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 15th. It will launch for PC gamers on May 29th. As more comes for the game, including part two of this multiplayer gameplay series, we’ll have it.
